Description

The Matchprint™ Model 447 Enhanced Auto-Laminator uses heat and pressure to bond individual Matchprint™ color proofing films to a base sheet to produce single-sheet proofs. The laminator is also used to make Matchprint™ transfer proofs. The laminator features automatic engagement of the heat rollers to simplify operation.

 
Safety Requirements

Before operating the laminator, consult the Operator's Guide for correct operating procedures and important safety information.

Electrical

Connect the Model 447 Enhanced Auto-Laminator to a grounded, dedicated, polarized, 3-pin outlet with the proper receptacle. Always disconnect the laminator from the power source before performing service. Do not use an extension cord.

Mechanical

The laminating rollers, under the heat shield, are very hot. Use caution to avoid burns.
